About me

My name is Jasmina Sabrihafizović.

What I’m made of

I come from a long line of hafizes and imams of the main mosque in my city.

A hafiz is a person who knows the Muslim sacred book Quran by heart, embodies and guards the wisdom of the path of development of a human being, character and soul. An imam is a leader of this path for others.
That’s what hafiz(ović) in my last name stands for.

The other part is patience and perseverance (sabr, in Arabic).

Jasmina is a yasmine flower, a scent of sublime beauty.

I love all of these meanings, as they’re deeply imbued in me.

My life is about freedom, meaning, nobility, excellence, joy, peace, connection and bringing and bridging different worlds together to do good.

I live in and work from an especially soulful place:
Sarajevo, Bosnia&Herzegovina.
I survived a siege that lasted 1.425 days as a kid here.
That experience is still moulding me in the most profound ways
into a fearless warrior of light, love and truth.

I am a Sufi, wife (married to my twin flame!), mom, daughter.

A friend for deep conversations over a good cappuccino or really nice herbal tea. Preferably at my husband’s beloved home in the woods, my sanctuary studio in the city or somewhere else where hearts and bodies rest and minds flow in creativity.

My career

I’m an engineer, integral coach and triber.

My career, spanning over 20 years, includes IT engineering and project management, business development and life-long learning support in NGOs and engagements in fields like social business, mentoring, poverty alleviation, advocacy, trauma healing, even first responder’s experience.

How it evolved

My original vocation is that of an electrical/IT engineer (worked as a software developer and project/team manager in old-fashion waterfall model corporate intercontinental corporation and later in the first agile IT startup in B&H, for 7 years).

The purpose then lead me to the social sector, where I’ve co-built from scratch and led a business community for entrepreneurs and professionals in the most successful faith based female NGO in B&H (3 years).

I’ve then naturally grown into coaching. Since this was a time of a very intensive personal trans-generational family, war and collective trauma healing and spiritual seeking, awakening and growth, my coaching expanded into an authentic integral model I am now offering to my clients.

What I’m doing

The methodology I’m using is a combination of integral development coaching, psychology, engineering, neuroscience, experiential knowledge, intuition and practice as well as wisdom passed onto me by teachers of essence.

To my knowledge, I am the only ICF certified Integral Development Coach in South East Europe. I hold a PCC certificate from Thirdspace London, UK / New Ventures West SF, USA and a Coaching Circles certificate from Impact Coaching (Charles Brassard), Canada.

I have individually advised, mentored, trained and coached more than 300 people and innumerable groups.

A few other things you might find interesting or important

I am also a spiritual poet, serial social entrepreneur and an engaged and passionate social activist.

I love reading, cooking, nature, dark chocolate, dates, perfumes and things made with love.

I bring all of this into my work.
(Yes, the cooking, dates and chocolate too!)

I am committed to creating a meaningful and lasting legacy for the people of today and the generations that are coming after us and love doing it with like-hearted and like-minded people.
